Product features
  • 15° abduction position to avoid adhesions to axillary recess (frozen shoulder)
  • Lateral positioning in 15° abduction to relieve the ventral limbus and the capsule
  • To avoid stiffening of the shoulder
Intended purpose

Only change the angle of abduction on instruction to do so from your doctor or orthotist.

Goal setting

We recommend lying on a table for the application and removal procedure. Pay attention to the following advice regarding the application: Make sure the side release buckles on the front of the cushion as well as the straps are open. Put the shoulder and hip belt on the table.
Place the affected arm in the open sling allowing your hand to rest on the ball.
Then, fasten all straps.
Pull the hip belt from behind your back to the front and Velcro fasten it.
Pull the shoulder belt over the uninjured shoulder to the front and place your arm in the opening between the shoulder and armpit belt. Now, close the side release buckles.
This product should only be used under medical supervision. Follow instructions of a trained professional, e.g. an orthopaedics technician, when applying for the first time.
